Study visit Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia December 12 -13th

The study visit in the Veneto Region is organised by the Local Health Authority of Verona and Local Health Agency Bassa Friulana, representing Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia Regions. The main theme is Chronic Diseases Management with a particular focus on integration of health and social care in Veneto Region and on ambient of life, domotics and accessibility in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The first day will be dedicated to the introduction of Health and Social Care System in Veneto, with the presentation of the new strategies on chronic care models and eHealth in agreement with the recent Regional Health and Social Care plan. As examples of services addressed to chronic population, several telemedicine services will be explained both through presentations and technical demos. During the second day, Friuli Venezia Giulia will introduce its regional strategy for innovation in the welfare sector with the presentation of some integrated initiatives on smart technologies for independent living involving public private partnerships.

The study visit is interesting for regional policymakers, experts, healthcare managers, ICT managers from health and social service providers, physicians and representatives of end user organisations and we expect about 70 participants from 13 European regions.
